PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION:

The ASI/KECO Model 205 incorporates basic principles covered by patent 5,398,559 and patents pending.

A liquid sample is allowed to continuously flow past one side of a non-selective permeable membrane while a carrier gas, H2S-free air or preferably nitrogen, continuously flows past the other side of the membrane. Sample components permeate the membrane and are swept away to make a mixture of gases suitable for analysis. An exclusive & patented liquid Validation System is available as an option.

1. MEASURE H2S IN

 

LIQUIDS.

RANGING: Less than 0 to 0.5 PPM to saturation

MEASURES: H2S in Liquids (free flowing).

READ-OUT: ASTM approved H2S tape method or Solid state sensor.

 

2. CLEAN-UP OF CONTAMINATED

 

WATER, MEASURE INPUT AND
OUTPUT

STEAM STRIPPER:
Measure H2S at input and output control steam required & save fuel costs or to regulate maximum through output

CARBON BED STRIPPER: Same as above

 

 

3. VALIDATION METHOD:

 



 

Calibration methods: Permeation tubes can be used to generate PPM or PPB samples to validate analyzer response. A liquid or gas trace can be fed into a liquid or gas stream.

Low maintenance: Sample Transfer Stripper™ for sampling radically reduces maintenance for GC, MS, IR, UV and solid state analyzers. The clean, dry sample can pay for the sample preparation system by lowering maintenance time and cost.
