CALIBRATE MOISTURE ANALYZERS

The  Model 203 "Microliter Fluid Calibrator™" will accept almost any fluid needed for injection into a flowing stream. Minute quantities of fluid are rapidly "pulsed" into a stream to effectively produce a continuous flowing mixture suitable for calibration purposes. Very low PPM to per cent levels of fluid in the stream are easily produced with this model. Equally well, "tracer compounds" or "chemical additives" can be blended into a gas or liquid stream under process conditions knowing the flow rate of the sample stream.

A control is provided for adjusting the instrument's pulse rate to achieve a desired reading on the digital meter display. This adjustment establishes a precise drive rate. The rate chosen governs the speed of travel of a piston seal within a fluid reservoir. The combination of drive rate and reservoir capacity fixes the rate of fluid leaving the reservoir for entry into flowing stream. Knowing this fluid flow rate and the flow rate take out of the stream, the concentration in PPM of the fluid in the stream is known.

A 3-way valve is provided to permit fluid to be charged to the reservoir conveniently. Optional solenoid and calibration timer for automatic operation are available.
