The Model 172 Calibrator is uniquely engineered to decrease the chances of failure caused by depending upon analyzer readings only. This feature increases the analyzer's life with more positive productivity by minimizing overall downtime. Here is dependability with continuous cost-saving performance at a good purchase price!

The Model 172 Calibrator is installed in the analyzer's flowline, between the sample pressure regulator and the analyzer's flow meter. When checking the analyzer's span with the calibrator, the concentration of permeate entering the analyzer is established by the flow rate of the sample into the analyzer and the rated output of the permeation tube.

Permeation tubes can contain liquefiable gases, such as ammonia, methyl mercaptan, sulfur dioxide, or non-liquefiable gases, such as carbon monoxide, oxygen, methane, or liquids, such as chlorinated hydrocarbons, benzene, alcohol, water, etc.

Calibrator can be provided with valve actuators for automatic operation, thermostated permeation tube enclosure, and panel-mounted with system flow units.
